Responsibilities of a Year 2 Teacher :

1. Provide pastoral care for children in their first year of Key Stage 1, promoting teamwork and a positive learning environment.
2. Deliver the Key Stage 1 curriculum, focusing on individual learning targets, strengths, and areas for improvement.
3. Develop pupils' maths skills, including fractions, statistics, and geometry.
4. Enhance children's writing skills by guiding them in creating stories with plots, characters, and settings.
5. Monitor and report on children's progress, communicating with parents as needed.

Suitable applicants must have:

• Relevant qualifications; both experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
