This is a full-time, permanent role for a Year 2 classroom teacher who is ready to inspire young learners through creative, purposeful, and engaging teaching. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum, monitoring pupil progress, and fostering a positive, respectful classroom environment.
You will also be supported by a full-time Teaching Assistant and benefit from shared planning time with your year group partner.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
-Experienced in or enthusiastic about teaching in Key Stage 1, with a strong grasp of the Year 2 curriculum, including preparation for SATs
-A reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional growth
- Able to differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners
- Skilled in building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Organised, resilient, and passionate about making a difference in children’s lives
