Part-Time Year 2 Teacher – Rugby – Ongoing

We’re currently recruiting for a part-time Year 2 teacher to join a supportive primary school in Rugby. This is an ongoing role with no confirmed end date, ideal for a KS1 specialist looking for consistency and responsibility in a part-time capacity.

Key Details:
  • 2–3 days per week in Year 2
  • Full class responsibility: Planning, staff meetings, parents' evenings, and report writing
  • Strong behaviour management is essential.
  • Start date: September
  • Additional Option: There is also the opportunity to cover PPA across the school on the remaining days of the week. However, this is not a requirement—the school is happy to appoint a separate teacher for PPA if preferred.

This role would suit a confident and experienced KS1 teacher who is happy to take on full teaching duties in a part-time role. If the Year 2 position sounds like the right fit, we encourage you to apply—regardless of your interest in the PPA cover.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Good knowledge of Phonics and KS1 curriculum
  • You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so.
  • You must have experience of teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
  • Be flexible, approachable, understanding and empathetic
What you'll get in return
  • Flexible working options available
  • Exclusive access to long-term and permanent teaching opportunities with our partnership schools.
  • Daily pay rates are comparable to permanent members of teaching staff (AWR legislation). An expert consultant to offer support and guidance
  • Refer a friend reward scheme - £250 for every referral
