Your new company
Hays Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable primary teacher to work at Primary School in Bristol in their Key Stage 1, Year 2 class. The school is a one-form entry school based in North Bristol, and they are looking for somebody who is a specialist in KS1 teaching with excellent phonics skills as well as strong collaboration skills. This role is on a long-term basis with the possibility of being made permanent at the end of the contracted period.
Your new role
This role is on a full-time basis and will be suited to those who have a passion for the final year of Key Stage 1 teaching. The school will be looking for someone with a strong ability to adapt their teaching style as the students will have a different set of abilities; the role is open to strong ECTs. The successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers throughout the year to form a collaborative team. There may be some planning, preparation and assessment alongside other classroom responsibilities which will be ascertained before you start so you can be remunerated appropriately. What you'll need to succeed
• You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.• Experience in teaching KS1 is preferred • Eligible to work in the UK• Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.• Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
