Responsibilities of a Year 2 teacher:

1. Responsible for the pastoral care of children in Key Stage 1, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive learning environment.
2. Teach the Key Stage 1 curriculum, focusing on individual learning targets, strengths, and areas for improvement.
3. Develop maths skills, including fractions, statistics, and geometry.
4. Support children in developing their writing skills through creative storytelling.
