Year 2 Teacher – Primary Academy in Woking

Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive.

• Use innovative teaching strategies to support the academic and personal development of students.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

• Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback and support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and has experience teaching in KS1.

• Has a strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.

• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and a nurturing approach.

• Is committed to professional development and contributing to the wider school community.

• Is passionate about delivering high-quality education and inspiring young learners.
