Are you a nurturing Year 2 Teacher ready to help children master core skills before KS2? A thriving village school south of Maidstone is looking for an inspiring and dedicated teacher to join their clos-knit team. Responsibilities of Year 2 Teacher:
• Deliver creative and targeted teaching to support KS1 progression.
• Prepare children for a confident and positive transition into KS2.
• Track and report progress to inform intervention and next steps.
• Participate in key stage moderation, events, and enrichment.
Requirements of Year 2 Teacher:
• QTS (or similar recognised in the UK) and proven experience in KS1 (especially Y2 or SATs familiarity).
• Passion for phonics, literacy, and early numeracy.
• Patience, compassion, and high expectations.
• Strong team collaboration and parental engagement skills.
