We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to providing engaging and high-quality learning experiences for every child. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Year 2 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver creative, stimulating lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and motivated to learn.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils’ academic and personal development.

  • Contribute to wider school life, including extra-curricular activities and school events.

Ideal Year 2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Proven experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2.

  • A thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks (including SATs preparation).

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills as a Year 2 Teacher.

  • A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach to teaching.
