This vibrant South London school is looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to start a long-term role from September, with a strong likelihood of transitioning to a permanent contract. Your responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 pupils, following the KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil attainment and progress, using data to inform differentiated teaching for all abilities (EAL, SEND).
  • Implement positive behavior management strategies to foster a secure and focused learning environment.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues, building positive relationships.
  • Contribute actively to the ethos and community life of the school.

About you:

  • Hold current Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
  • Have successful teaching experience within KS1, with previous Year 2 experience being highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and pupil behavior management skills.
  • A commitment to child protection and safeguarding procedures.
