A leading company in education is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a primary school in Chorley. This role entails planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and working closely with parents and colleagues. £160 - £220 Per day
The Year 2 Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students. They will create a supportive learning environment, assess student progress, and communicate effectively with parents and staff. The teacher will also participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Relevant teaching qualification - Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum - Strong classroom management skills
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Prior experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students - Proficiency in classroom technology - Strong organisational and time management skills
- Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE) - Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or English as a Second Language (ESL)
The Year 2 Teacher will work in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. They may need to work additional hours for lesson planning and grading. The role involves regular interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
