Job Opportunity: Year 2 Teacher at an Ofsted 'Good' School in Boston

An Ofsted 'Good' school in Boston is looking to appoint a Year 2 teacher in September to cover maternity leave. This role is based in a highly valued school in lower Boston, set to run for several terms in the upcoming academic year. The position involves planning and delivering high-quality lessons to a class of 30 pupils, with limited behavioural issues and strong support throughout the school. It is a full-time role, working five days a week. ECT teachers are encouraged to apply!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons based on prepared plans.
  • Ensure pupils understand and follow the content delivered.
  • Manage behaviour and keep pupils engaged during lessons.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A relevant degree in Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Key Stage 1 (KS1).
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  • Driving licence is preferred but not essential, due to location.
