Long-Term Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher - Year 2

Start: January 2026 | Location: Bolton | Contract: Until end of academic year (possible extension)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 teacher looking for a long‑term supply role where you can make a real impact? We are seeking a motivated professional to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Bolton, working with a supportive leadership team and experienced Key Stage staff.

The Role

Teach a Year 2 class from January 2026 through to the end of the academic year, with potential to continue into the next year.

Deliver high‑quality teaching across the full Year 2 curriculum, including English, Maths, Science, and Foundation subjects.

Support pupils' social, emotional, and personal development.

Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Year 2).
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and the ability to plan lessons that inspire and meet the needs of all learners.
  • Excellent classroom management and positive behaviour strategies.
