Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 child in a mainstream primary school’s reception class on a 1-to-1 basis. There are no personal care requirements for this role. The child initially struggles to build rapport but enjoys outdoor learning, and you will receive support from SLT to suggest activities they will enjoy. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity. The setting aims for the assistant to potentially transition with the child through the school, as per the family’s wishes. Previous in-school experience is beneficial, but support work, residential, or similar experience is also valued. The pay starts from £95.29 per day, depending on your qualifications and background.
