Year 3 Primary Teacher

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 2 Primary Teacher for an Ofsted “Good” Primary school in Redbridge.

The school is a popular two-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

The position is open to both NQT’s and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, the school may extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Redbridge
• Position – Year 2 Primary Teacher
• Type of work – Class Teacher – planning, preparation, marking, parents evenings, etc.
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration – until end of the academic year, July 2025
• Contract type – Temporary
• Minimum pay rate – £164 per day
• Hours – 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

REQUIREMENTS

• QTS or equivalent
• At least 1 year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
• Two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
