Year 2 Primary School Teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic teacher to work in a primary school in Redbridge.

The school is a two-form entry primary with a supportive leadership team. All staff are provided with training opportunities.

This position is open to both ECTs (Early Careers Teachers) and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, there is potential for contract extension or a permanent position.

Contract/Position Details:

• Location: Redbridge, East London
• Position: Year 2 Primary School Teacher
• Type of work: Class Teacher (planning, presentations, marking, parents' evenings, etc.)
• Start date: September 2025
• Duration: 1-term contract with potential extension
• End date: End of Term 1
• Contract type: Temporary
• Full/Part time: Full time
• Pay rate: Depending on pay scale
• Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• QTS/ECT or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience teaching KS1 or KS2
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (issued within the past year)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Valid right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child barred list DBS and enrollment or willingness to enroll in the DBS update service
• Two professional references related to children from the past two years
