Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking an experienced Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) to provide face-to-face 1:1 tuition for a Year 11 student in Doncaster (DN12). The role runs Tue/Wed, 9:30am–2:30pm, at £25–£30 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will deliver a personalised curriculum with focus on AQA preparation, support SEN learners, and work within safeguarding guidelines. DBS checks and right-to-work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching and planning lessons across curriculum.
• Proven experience preparing students for AQA examinations.
• Significant SEN experience.
• Strong differentiated teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS current or willing to obtain.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face 1:1 tuition across the curriculum.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the student’s learning needs and goals.
• Support a Year 11 learner working towards AQA qualifications.
• Adapt teaching approaches to accommodate SEN needs and learning differences.
• Monitor progress, assess attainment, and adjust planning accordingly.
• Build a positive, supportive relationship that promotes confidence, engagement and independence.
• Maintain accurate records of learning, progress, and outcomes.
