Teaching Assistant

Location: Cwmbran

Type: Long Term / Full Time

Are you looking for a new role as a Teaching Assistant? We have a brilliant opportunity for you. Academics are looking for a TA to work in a lovely Year 1 Class in a brilliant school in Cwmbran.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson and material preparation.
  2. Assisting with basic literacy and numeracy tasks for small groups of students.
  3. Providing 1:1 support for students who need extra assistance.
What is in it for you?

What we need from you
  1. An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS update service.
  2. Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
  3. Two recent and professional references.
  4. Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a school setting (desirable).
