Year 1 Teacher - Reading - January Start. ‘‘Good’’ Primary School. Two Form entry. An established and popular Primary School in Reading are searching for a Year 1 Class Teacher for January. There is an exciting opportunity for the Year 1 Class Teacher to take on a Year Group Lead responsibility (TLR) which is perfect for someone looking for the next step in their teaching career. Parking is available on site. This high-achieving yet warm and welcoming Primary school offers a rich curriculum. Ideally, the Year 1 Class teacher will be familiar with and have previously taught the UK curriculum.

Year 1 Class Teacher – Reading – January Start – Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Teach and plan Year 1 lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
  • Potentially take on a Year Group Lead responsibility (TLR).
  • Deliver engaging and forward-thinking lessons, with support from a teaching assistant in class.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment aligned with the school values.
  • Collaborate with leadership, colleagues, and staff to support pupil progress and well-being.
