What Youll Be Doing

As a Year 1 Teacher your role will involve:

• Planning and Delivering Inspiring Lessons: Design and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 1 students following the National Curriculum and incorporating creative learning methods.
• Fostering a Positive Learning Environment: Create a classroom atmosphere where children feel safe valued and motivated to learn.
• Tracking and Supporting Progress: Monitor students academic and personal progress setting goals and providing feedback that helps them grow and thrive.
• Encouraging Independence and Confidence: Support students in developing key skills such as independence problemsolving and social interaction preparing them for the next stage of their education.
• Collaborating with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers and support staff to share best practices and deliver a cohesive engaging curriculum.
• Engaging with Parents and Guardians: Build strong relationships with parents keeping them informed and involved in their childs learning and development.
• Contributing to the School Community: Be an active member of the schools vibrant community participating in school events activities and initiatives that enhance students learning experiences.

What Were Looking For

We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher who:

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1 particularly in Year 1.
• Has a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young learners.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students colleagues and parents.
• Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and is able to deliver lessons that are both engaging and accessible to all students.
• Is creative and flexible with a commitment to creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Has a team player mindset eager to collaborate with colleagues to deliver the best outcomes for students.
