Job description

Preston School is seeking a Year 1 Teacher.

Your new school

Your new school is a mainstream, one-form entry primary school located in the South Ribble area of Preston. The school emphasizes preparing pupils for the wider world. It has a highly experienced senior leadership team and was rated GOOD by OFSTED in its most recent inspection.

Your new role

The school is looking for a class teacher to take charge of a bright Year 1 class. This is a full-time role, five days a week, with an immediate start. The position is ongoing until at least the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent if interested.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this Year 1 teaching position, you must be a dedicated classroom practitioner who can hit the ground running and ensure each child's success. You must have UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching Key Stage 1, preferably in Year 1.
