Job summary

Provide Education- South Yorkshire is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Doncaster (DN4). The role is full-time and initially until October half term with potential extension.

You will deliver engaging, creative Year 1 lessons in line with the National Curriculum, support pupils' academic, social and emotional development, and work closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Experience teaching in EYFS/KS1, particularly Year 1.
• Creative, enthusiastic and passionate about primary education.
• Strong classroom management and inclusive practice.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive school team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the DN4 area of Doncaster.

This is a full-time position initially running until the October half term, with the possibility of continuing beyond this date for the right candidate.

The Role

The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons to a Year 1 class, supporting pupils as they continue their transition into Key Stage 1.

You will

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support the academic, social and emotional development of pupils.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team.

We Are Looking For

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Have experience teaching within EYFS/Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1.

• Have strong classroom management skills.
• Be committed to providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a supportive school team.
