Salary: £160 - £220 per day

Teach Plus are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming, 2-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets from January. This is a maternity cover role running until the end of the academic year. The school is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and is known for its supportive leadership, collaborative planning structure, and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

Job Responsibilities

As a Year 1 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Working collaboratively with your parallel Year 1 Teacher to share ideas and resources.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and independence.
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress to ensure every child achieves their potential.
• Maintaining strong communication with parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Upholding the school's values and contributing to wider school life.
