Job Opportunity: Year 1 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join as maternity cover during the autumn term.

This position is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs), but please note it will not support induction.

Contract Details

1. Position: Year 1 Teacher
2. Location: Brent, London
3. Start Date: September
4. Duration: Autumn term only – possibility to extend
5. Working Hours: Full time – Mondays to Fridays
6. Pay Scale: M1-M6

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

1. QTS
2. Experience as a teacher in a UK primary school
3. Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility Criteria

1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
2. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
