Overview

Academics in Leeds are recruiting a year 1 teacher for one of our schools based in Wakefield. The position will commence in November until the end of the academic year, with a possibility of a direct contract at the end of the summer term 2026. Enthusiastic and motivated ECTs will also be considered for this year 1 teacher position. The school has a very supportive SLT and provides regular CPD for all staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated, and creative lessons to suit all abilities in Year 1.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive learning environment and high expectations for attainment and behaviour.
