Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Year 1 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Hertfordshire. The role is a September 2026 start, full-time and permanent, with a salary on the Main Pay Scale (MPS1–MPS6) dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have KS1 teaching experience, and demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills. You will join a supportive school focused on pupil wellbeing and professional development.

Year 1 Teacher, September Start

Location: Hemel Hempstead
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: MPS1 - MPS6 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
