Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting for a Year 1 Class Teacher in Islington. The role is full-time and suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers (ECT – M6), with salary/experience considered accordingly.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver across the curriculum, develop phonics, reading, writing and maths, monitor pupil progress and work with a supportive team to create an inclusive classroom where children feel confident and motivated to learn.

Qualifications

• QTS accredited teaching qualification.
• Ability to plan and deliver the Year 1 curriculum across core subjects.
• Commitment to supporting every child's progress.
• Strong classroom management and creative, engaging lessons.

Responsibilities

• Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 1 class.
• Plan and deliver lessons across the national curriculum.
• Develop phonics, reading, writing and maths.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
