This full-time position is for one year and involves planning engaging lessons and providing support to Year 1 students. Hays Education is a market-leading recruitment agency. We are working with a Wirral-based primary school to recruit a KS1 teacher to work in Year 1 from September 2025. As education specialists, we can support you in finding the right role. This post is full-time and initially for a one-year fixed term.
Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting the children as a Year 1 class teacher, working with a part-time teaching assistant. Your duties include planning and delivering engaging, suitably challenging lessons for a mixed ability group. Although you will be the only Year 1 teacher, you will join a close-knit, hardworking team that will support you to bring out the best in your students.
