Position:Year 1 Class Teacher
Location:Canvey Island
Salary:£125 - £240 per day (£24,375 - £46,800), depending on experience and qualifications!
Contract Type:Full-time (part-time considered)
Start Date:September 2025 (or earlier if available)

Your Role Will Include:

• Delivering Creative Lessons:As a Year 1 Class Teacher, design and teach engaging lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum and encourage active learning.
• Supporting Individual Progress:Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all pupils, ensuring every child is supported and challenged.
• Fostering a Positive Classroom:As a Year 1 Class Teacher, build a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident and motivated.
• Monitoring Development:Use a range of assessment tools to track progress and inform your teaching approach.
• Collaborating with Staff:Work closely with colleagues to plan lessons, share ideas, and contribute to whole-school initiatives as a Year 1 Class Teacher.
• Building Strong Home-School Links:Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student learning and development.
