Position:Year 1 Class Teacher
Location:Bowers Gifford
Salary:£125 - £240 per day (£24,375 - £46,800), depending on experience and qualifications!
Contract Type:Full-time (part-time available)
Start Date:September 2025 (or earlier if available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Inspiring Lessons:Plan and teach engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning as a Year 1 Class Teacher.
• Support Individual Needs:Differentiate instruction to ensure all students are supported and challenged appropriately.
• Create a Positive Learning Environment:As a Year 1 Class Teacher, build a classroom culture that is inclusive, respectful, and motivating.
• Track and Assess Progress:Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor student development and inform teaching.
• Collaborate with Colleagues:Work closely with fellow staff to plan cross-curricular activities and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
• Engage with Parents and Carers:Maintain open communication with families to support student learning and well-being as a Year 1 Class Teacher.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS1.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A creative, reflective, and proactive approach to teaching.
• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
