Job summary

A manufacturing recruitment agency is seeking candidates for an ongoing role in a building materials manufacturing plant in Ilkeston. You will be trained to operate machinery, including cross cut saws and bandsaws, to process wood. Safety gear will be provided, and previous experience is not essential, although candidates with a solid work history are preferred. Shifts are Sunday to Thursday, with a pay rate of £12.21 per hour.

Job description

IMMEDIATE STARTS
Working in a busy building materials manufacturing plant in Ilkeston you will be trained up in various areas of the plant to be able to safely and effectively operate such machinery as cross cut saws and bandsaws processing wood into the final product.
As a worker for this company you will be entitled to parity pay from day one with all special PPE supplied by the client above the usual required Safety Boots and Hi Viz Vest.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking for a regular ongoing position.
Full training and inductions will be provided so although previous experience is not required candidates with a history of being able to work in a Dusty environment and dealing with oversized products repetitively will be given preference.

• Be able to commit to a regular shift pattern and a desire to work
• Have Safety Boots and High Vis Vest/Coat


This is an ongoing position

Shifts are Sunday to Thursday with rotating shifts starting at :14:30 and finishing at 23:00

Pay for this role is £12.21 per hour
