Job summary

Marshalls is seeking a Yard Loader at the St. Ives manufacturing site to load and unload products onto vehicles safely, using a forklift and attachments. You will be part of a busy logistics team reporting to the Yard Manager.

The role requires FLT driving experience, good communication and teamwork, with a 48-hour week and Monday–Friday pattern. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift trucks and loading/unloading goods.
• Able to work in a busy logistics environment with health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products onto Marshalls' or customer vehicles safely.
• Operate a forklift truck and power attachments as required.
• Report to Yard Manager and work as part of the Logistics team.

48 hours per week - Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm

Our operations are organised into three distinct divisions: Landscape Products, Building Products, and Roofing Products and we’re growing our Logistics team and are looking for an experienced Yard Loader to join us at our St. Ives manufacturing site. What’s the Mission?

You will load and unload products onto Marshalls' or customer vehicles safely whilst using a Forklift truck and various power mount attachments. Ideally, you’ll come from a background where you understand Yard Operations and have some product knowledge but don’t worry, this isn’t essential – we can teach you everything about Marshalls!

What are the mission-critical skills?

• FLT driving experience with a valid Forklift Truck Licence is preferred
• Experience of working in areas where workplace transport health and safety is practiced
• Excellent team working skills within a busy vibrant environment
• Good communication and team work skills
