As Operations Team Manager at Marshalls plc, you’ll lead the safe and efficient operation of a busy civils and drainage yard, ensuring effective yard utilisation and on‑time deliveries. You’ll oversee the movement of stock from production into the yard and through to dispatch, including the safe loading and unloading of vehicles and the use of mobile plant equipment such as FLTs, loading shovels, and telehandlers. Working closely with production and transport teams, you’ll drive performance, reduce waste, and maintain high quality standards across all yard activities.

Through clear communication, regular briefings, and visible leadership, you’ll ensure your team operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently, maintain excellent housekeeping standards, and consistently deliver against KPI targets in a performance‑driven environment.
Health and safety will be central to your role, with responsibility for ensuring full compliance with company policies and site standards, and promoting best working practices at all times. At Marshalls, you're valued for the contribution you make, and where you can grow and develop by being entirely yourself.
