Job summary

Huws Gray Group is recruiting a Yard Supervisor for our Airdrie branch. You will lead a small team, keep the yard safe and well-organised, and ensure stock is accurately maintained while deliveries go out on time.

You’ll oversee yard operations, manage stock levels, and support deliveries, handling goods in and out with clear documentation. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and offer training to help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Forklift Driving Licence is advantageous.
• Training and support will be provided to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee yard operations, working with Yard Operatives and Drivers.
• Manage stock levels and report faults to the Branch Manager.
• Support deliveries by handling loading and unloading.
• Handle goods in and out with accurate documentation on our systems.
• Work as part of a team to keep the branch running efficiently and deliver great customer service.

We’re now looking for a Yard Supervisorto join the team at our Airdriebranch. You’ll play a key role in keeping our yard running smoothly. You’ll lead a team, ensuring stock is maintained and deliveries go out efficiently—all while creating a safe and well‑organised environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Overseeing yard operations - working closely with our Yard Operatives and Drivers
• Managing stock levels - identifying any faulty or damaged goods, and reporting issues to the Branch Manager
• Supporting deliveries - handling loading and unloading to keep things moving
• Handling goods in and out - ensuring all documentation is completed accurately on our systems
• Working as part of a team - keeping our branch running efficiently and delivering excellent customer service
