Job summary

Travis Perkins is looking for a Yard Assistant to work outside the branch, handling customer orders and loading/unloading vehicles. You will also unload building products from deliveries and accurately book them into the branch warehouse, with training provided for forklift use.

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic with great interpersonal skills.
• Physically capable of handling heavy and bulky stock.
• Experience with forklift is ideal, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and load/unload vehicles at the yard.
• Unload building products from supplier deliveries and book in the branch warehouse.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Operate with strong customer service focus and be helpful and friendly at all times.
