Job summary

Travis Perkins is recruiting for a Sales Assistant to work Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday mornings (8-12). You will engage customers, process orders, load and unload stock in the Yard, and accurately book deliveries into our systems. Training is provided to learn building materials and tools on the job.

You’ll need a positive, can-do attitude, be physically capable of handling heavy stock, and enjoy delivering a best-in-class sales experience in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and sales-oriented approach.
• Ability to handle a range of building materials and tools when needed.
• Team player who can support colleagues across the branch.
• Physically capable of handling heavy and bulky stock in Yard/Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Spend time outside in the Yard, processing orders, loading/unloading vehicles and booking deliveries into our systems.
• Support colleagues across the wider branch to maintain a high standard of service.
