Job summary

Enva Recycling Scotland in Glenrothes is seeking a Yard Operative for a permanent, full-time role. 45 hours per week, 7am to 5pm, with potential overtime. You will sort waste materials both manually and mechanically and perform site housekeeping and basic preventative maintenance.

Key duties include complying with Health and Safety regulations, recording inspections, and supporting daily yard operations. Experience in a factory or processing environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory or processing environment.
• Ability to comply with Waste Legislation, Emergency Procedures and Environmental Legislation.
• Experience maintaining Healthy & Safe Environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate waste types to maximise plant performance.
• Maintain cleanliness of all working areas.
• Operate mobile plant and other equipment safely when trained.
• Record duties and inspections per procedures.
• Follow health and safety legislation and Enva standards.
• Assist day-to-day yard operations and other duties as required.
