Job summary

Princes Cardiff is recruiting a Yard Person to join our Centre of Juice Excellence in Cardiff. The role focuses on safe handling of raw materials, stock accuracy and efficient yard operations.

The successful candidate will operate forklifts, manage drum handling, and work collaboratively with the IPC and Warehouse teams to meet site standards. A valid FLT licence is required, with Monday–Friday days on-site in a highly automated drinks facility.

Qualifications

• Valid and up-to-date forklift licence (FLT) relevant to site equipment.
• Experience completing routine operational checks and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Awareness of emergency procedures.
• Basic safety and PPE knowledge.
• Experience handling stock and applying FIFO practices.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and safe storage.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard and manage incoming raw materials with accurate stock records.
• Prepare, label and process concentrate drums for uplift per Production Plan.
• Use drum grabber and forklift safely; ensure raw material quality standards.
• Maintain 5S standards and a clean, organized work area.
• Complete daily documentation accurately and support KPI targets.
