The Role

To ensure that the building, yard, and surrounding areas are kept to a good standard of cleanliness, jet washing bins, assisting with the delivery/collection of bins to customer sites, and supporting the service team where required.

Responsibilities

1. General upkeep of buildings, yard, and surrounding grounds
2. Washing bins using a power wash
3. Ensuring high standards of bins and sorting for repair or scrap
4. Labelling bins correctly
5. Monitoring stock levels
6. Use of specialist vehicles to manoeuvre and empty bins
7. Undertake general maintenance duties
8. Assisting with bin deliveries/collections on tailift vehicle
9. Providing holiday/sick cover for operatives at other locations within the business

The Ideal Candidate

1. Has the ability to work on own initiative
2. Has a proactive and hands-on approach
3. Experience in a similar role
4. Full UK driving license essential
5. FLT license is desirable
