Qualifications

We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Yard Operative/Relief Driver based at our Boston branch. We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for customer service and who is confident to work as part of a team and under their own initiative.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Loading our fleet of delivery vehicles ensuring that all products are safely loaded and secured.
  • Ensuring loads are correct against the customers’ orders.
  • Ensuring delivery is safe to make and respecting customer’s property.
  • Unloading all palletised deliveries and stock orders.
  • Handle any customer issues on delivery effectively.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Full Driving licence for a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV vehicle with Digi-card and full Driver CPC is essential.
  • Fork-lift licence would be an advantage.
  • Hiab Experience preferable but not essential.
  • A flexible approach to work.

This is a full-time role; hours of work will be 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with 1 hour for lunch) and 7:30am to 12:30pm on 1 in 2 Saturdays.
