Turnbull & Company is a family run business and Lincolnshire’s largest independent Builders’ Merchant. We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Yard Trader based at our Horncastle branch. We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for customer service and who is confident to work as part of a team and under their own initiative.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Loading our fleet of delivery vehicles ensuring that all products are safely loaded and secured.
• Ensuring loads are correct against the customers’ orders.
• Ensuring delivery is safe to make and respecting customer’s property.
• Unloading all palletised deliveries and stock orders.
• Provide first class customer service.
• Handle any customer issues on delivery effectively.

We are looking for someone with:

• Excellent customer service skills.

• A flexible approach to work.
• A forklift license would be desirable.

This is a full-time role; hours of work will be 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with 1 hour for lunch) and 7:30am to 12:30pm on 1 in 2 Saturdays.
