We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Builders Merchants based in Crewe, seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative with a Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the yard, ensuring smooth loading and unloading of materials.
• Operating a forklift to move stock and materials both inside and outside the yard.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery.
• Working alongside other team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Valid FLT Licence.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a yard or warehouse environment is advantageous.
• A good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work well as part of a team, and independently when required.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.

• Hourly Pay: £14.10ph
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00 with occasional Saturday mornings.
