Job summary

Lawsons is looking for a Yard Operative at the Ascot branch. The role covers receiving, storing, picking and loading fencing, timber, landscaping and building materials in a busy yard environment.

You will support branch teams and uphold health and safety standards while delivering a friendly service to trade and retail customers. Qualifications

• Experience in yard or warehouse roles is essential.
• Experience with building materials, timber, fencing or bulky goods is desirable.
• Able to lift and move heavy materials safely.
• Good health and safety mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and check for shortages or damages.
• Unload vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Prepare and stage orders for collection or delivery.
• Assist customers with loading and provide helpful service.
• Keep yard tidy, organized and safe.
