Job summary

TSR Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Yard Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join a busy Leeds yard, starting at short notice.

The role involves loading and unloading materials, general yard duties, keeping the space clean and organised, and assisting with deliveries and site tasks in all weather. This is a hands-on, outdoor role requiring reliability, team spirit and good fitness.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
• Experience in yard, warehouse or construction environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work outdoors.
• Scaffolding labouring experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials safely using a counterbalance forklift
• General yard duties and keeping the yard clean and organised
• Moving and storing materials safely
• Loading vehicles and preparing materials for delivery
• Manual handling and general labouring duties
• Following all site health & safety procedures
• Supporting the wider yard and site team as required
