Huws Gray Sudbury is looking for a Yard Operative / Counter Sales Assistant to help customers, manage deliveries, and keep the yard running smoothly. You’ll work outdoors, support the branch team, and provide practical product knowledge to customers.

Training and development are provided, and there is scope for flexible working. A forklift licence is a bonus, but not essential, and inclusion in the team is encouraged regardless of experience.

Qualifications

• We’re not expecting you to know it all from day one – training is provided.
• You’ll need a great attitude and willingness to pitch in as part of the team.
• Forklift licence is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find what they need and offer practical advice.
• Handle deliveries, check in goods and keep them stored safely.
• Load and unload vehicles and keep the yard tidy and secure.
• Support the branch team to keep things moving behind the scenes.
