The Role

The Role

Our nationwide Trenching and Shoring division hires equipment across construction, utilities, and infrastructure industries. This equipment includes chain slings, manhole lifters, ladders, lifting pins, manhole chain clamps, and counterbalanced davit systems used to install trench boxes.

Working in the depot, the Yard Operative is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workshop and yard, ensuring tools are stored correctly, and equipment leaving the depot is pressure cleaned, refueled, and logged accurately.

About You

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a labourer, preferably in a hire depot/yard environment
• Strong team player willing to support colleagues with additional tasks
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• CSCS card, forklift license, and driving license are preferable
