Job description

PM SHIFT: Hours will be 12:30 to 21:00 Mon to Thurs & 11:30 to 20:00 Fridays.

The role

Are you ready to be a key part of a dynamic team? We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Operative to help keep operations running smoothly. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about safety and efficiency, this is the role for you! Become an essential part of our yard operations and help ensure our processes run without a hitch.

Specific Accountabilities

• Self-management of allocated picking list orders
• Identifying and packing of orders from pick face lines/bulk stock locations for delivery into customers.
• Manual selection of product from racking and/or pick locations based on required size, type, quantity and quality requirements
• Adherence to strict Quality Assurance procedures and extensive personal care/accountability for all orders picked
• Delivery of packed items correctly to staging area for delivery
• Safe operation of handling equipment ensuring that all related safety procedures and regulations are followed at all times
• Stock replenishment
• Ensures picking targets are consistently completed
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Secure banding/wrapping of product for safe shipping
• Loads/Unloads delivery vehicles where applicable
• Adheres to set housekeeping practices at all times
• Time Management
• A willingness to learn and a positive attitude to improvement
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
