Overview

Full-Time Yard Operative Shoreham-by-Sea

Salary: £29,250 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30–17:30 (45 hrs/week)

Join Westbourne, a leading provider of breakdown and recovery services across Southern England! We\'re on the lookout for a reliable and proactive Yard Operative to support day-to-day operations at our busy Shoreham site.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the yard, workshops, and offices clean, tidy, and debris-free
• Supporting drivers with vehicle loading/unloading
• Parking and cataloguing vehicles
• Minor cleaning/refurbishment of company fleet vehicles
• Assisting technicians and conducting vehicle inventory checks
• General site maintenance duties

Qualifications

• Hardworking and dependable team player
• Comfortable working outdoors and around vehicles
• Basic knowledge of vehicle handling (training provided)
• Excellent customer service skills
• IT skills
• Must be able to pass a CRB check and Sussex & Surrey Police vetting
