Overview

IMH Recruitment are looking for an operative to work on a picking line for our client based in S25. This is working within a recycling facility, sorting and separating products.

Responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety procedures, risk assessments and safe operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe working area with good housekeeping standards.
• Ensure quality of materials being produced is at required standard.
• Operate all machinery as trained and instructed.
• Ensure all materials are weighed and recorded accurately throughout the day.
• Liaise with senior management when required.
• Attend all training courses requested by the company.
• Organising workload in a busy environment.
• Understanding of basic machinery operations and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Assist with other duties as required.

About You

• Good communication skills.
• Experienced working in waste & recycling environment (desirable).
• A flexible approach to working hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, i.e. safety procedures, operating manuals.
• Good physical condition with the ability to carry out manual handling tasks.

Hours and Pay

£12.21 per hour, rising to £12.50 after probation. Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm.
