Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Yard Operative in the UK to support our Service Centre operations. You will prepare equipment, ensure it is clean and ready for hire, and help maintain a safe yard environment.

Key duties include cleaning gear, checking off-hired items, and liaising with customers during loading/unloading. We offer a FTSE100 employer with a generous rewards package and a strong pension plan.

In the role of Yard Operative you'll play an key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Service Centre. It will be your job to prepare the equipment to ensure that it is clean and ready for customers to hire.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning and preparing equipment
  
• Checking and storing off-hired equipment
  
• Maintaining a clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas
  
• Liaising with customers on a day to day basis when loading and unloading job
