Job description

BAM Site Solutions is recruiting a Yard Operative based at our Allbrook Depot in Eastleigh. This operational role involves working in a busy workshop environment, supporting BAM or Client Projects both internally and externally.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week

Your responsibilities

• Work safely, adhering to company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Perform basic IT tasks.
• Wash and valet company plant and vehicles.
• Manage daily yard duties, including controlling haulage companies entering and leaving, and coordinating with the team to ensure plant availability with proper paperwork.
• Record and report any damage to plant upon return from site.
• Maintain the yard in a tidy, safe condition according to company standards.
• Assist with additional tasks as requested by the manager.

Candidate requirements

• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Full UK driving license.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Competency card for Banksman-slinger (training available if needed).
